Favorite Things Blog Hop

BLOG HOP!
This month's CDS Blog Hop theme is A few of my favorite things!  I used a few of MY favorite things on my card below that is using the Berry Happy Hedgehog stamp.

If you just came upon my blog, you will want to start at the beginning on Lori's blog HERE.

If you were following along, you should have come from Shell's blog.

You'll want to visit Stacy's blog NEXT!

On my card, my fav things used:
buttons, brads, bakers twine, patterned paper,
cute little critter, and lime/kiwi color

I stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored the hedgie with Tombows and a waterbrush.  I colored the berries to be "gooseberries" just so that I could use the lime/kiwi color, LOL.

New Digital Images at CDS

Hello!  Today is the digital release day at CDS and there are some totally cute images available!!!  I only am showing you samples with 2 sets, but be sure to check out Lori's blog HERE for all the images and digi paper sets being released today!

Here I used the Tea-rrific Digi image set, just the outlines.  There is a matching digi paper pack sold separately, as well as color tea images.  I wanted to color my tea set black with purple and yellow roses.  My grandmother had a beautiful black china set that I always stood and admired behind the glass cabinet.  It had the purple and yellow roses too, so that is where I was inspired for this card.
The black was really hard to color.  It didn't turn out exactly how I was envisioning, but I think it still looks black.
I used the white filled PNG images to overlap them into a little scene, in my Word document, and then I printed it pretty large....  the image rectangle is a 3" x 6" size, and the finished card is 3.25" x 6.25".

Little princess thanks you

Hello!  I made this thank you card with the adorable Little princess puppy from KnK Designs.
She is so cute!  The sentiment is also from another KnK digi set, americana horse.
I watercolored the image with the markers and waterbrush.
For the corners, I punched a MS border punch and then snipped out at 90 degree angles to make corners.
Thanks for visiting today!  I hope you have a fun weekend and stay cool!
